Abstract (Inglese)
Abstract (Italiano)
This thesis describes the various phases of study of the phenomenon of open data e the creation of an architecture designed for the management and visualization of open data extracted from the Italian portal openBDAP, in order to provide external users with a single tool capable of providing visualization, comparison and final consumption services. Furthermore, the architecture can be integrated with other publicly distributed data sources on any platform and can be updated over time.
In the first two chapters all the necessary knowledge and information are introduced in order to have a practical approach to the world of open data, with the Italian Public Administrations and to understand what openBDAP is.
In the following chapters, all the functionalities and features of the tools and frameworks used to create the data management architecture.
A single chapter is dedicated to the description of the noSQL approach, undertaken through the ElasticSearch non-relational database, used for storage and data management and the creation of specific queries, which feed the views integrated on the dashboard, with a particular focus on the difference with normal relational databases.
In the sixth and seventh chapters, they come respectively illustrated the conceptual development flow and the practical act of realization of the various components.
Finally, the last chapter is reserved for the description of a real use case obtained thanks to the use of the analytical and comparison services provided by the dashboard.
