Abstract (Inglese)
Abstract (Italiano)
We measured the relaxation processes of different glass-forming liquids, focusing our attention on the pressure and temperature effects on secondary Johari-Goldstein (JG) relaxations. New insigths on the energy landscape governing this type of process, were found. The effect of ageing was also measured. In particular we focused on the non-ergodicity of glasses and how it affects the stability of amorphous drugs. A correlation between numbers of nuclei formed during cold-crystallization and aging time of the glass was found.
