Summary
The thesis work was implemented at ShopFully, an Italian tech company. ShopFully is a leader in Drive-to-Store, i.e., the development of digital solutions aimed at generating traffic in physical shops.
Chapter 1 tells us the basics of the world of Big Data and Cloud Computing. It describes the main features and their fields of application, analysing the factors that drive companies to adopt advanced data management systems to provide valuable support to their managers.
Chapter 2 presents the company, its mission and the technologies used to complete the work.
Chapter 3 shows us the case study and the used approach to solve the tasks. In particular, starting with the requirements of the problem, the phases are described, from the analysis of the domain, continuing with the methodology applied, to the creation of the final reports.
Chapter 4 presents the graphs showing the result of the complete work. The results are discussed also with other teams.
Chapter 5 shows the conclusion of the internship with related future developments.
