Il lavoro origina da un pregresso interesse nei confronti dell’anamorfosi, inizialmente con un approccio filosofico-ermeneutico, per giungere oggi a un’analisi storico-artistica, e dalla fascinazione per un libro che ha trattato «gli aspetti fantastici e il lato assurdo della prospettiva»[1].
Con questo lavoro si è voluto affrontare l’argomento a partire da una panoramica storico-definitoria del fenomeno prospettico, arrivando ad analizzare la rinascita delle deformazioni geometrico-visive nel corso del Novecento che hanno determinato la scoperta di tipologie inconsuete e ritrovamento di anamorfosi credute ormai perse, per, infine, prendere in analisi un settore ristretto come quello del campus antropomorphus in rapporto ad una particolare deformazione paesaggistica, di cui si ha un’unica realizzazione conosciuta.
Nello svolgersi dello studio è emerso il ruolo peculiare, potremmo dire ‘bifronte’ del libro Anamorfosi di Jurgis Baltrusaitis, essendo sia elemento di quella nuova fase di studi e di ripresa dell’argomento che ha inizio nei primi decenni del Novecento, sia testimonianza in sé, raccontando e analizzando questa sorta di rinnovata attenzione nei confronti delle deformazioni prospettiche in questione.

The work originates from a previous interest in anamorphosis, initially with a philosophical-hermeneutic approach, to arrive today at a historical-artistic analysis, and from the fascination for a book that dealt with "the fantastic aspects and the absurd side of the perspective "[1].
With this work we wanted to tackle the topic starting from a historical-defining overview of the perspective phenomenon, going to analyze the rebirth of geometric-visual deformations during the twentieth century that led to the discovery of unusual types and the discovery of anamorphosis believed now finally, he lost to analyze a restricted sector like that of the anthropomorphus campus in relation to a particular landscape deformation, of which there is only one known realization.
In the course of the study, the peculiar role emerged, we could say 'two-faced' of the book Anamorfosi by Jurgis Baltrusaitis, being both an element of that new phase of study and recovery of the topic that begins in the early decades of the twentieth century, and testimony in itself , telling and analyzing this sort of renewed attention to the perspective deformations in question.
