Summary
Il lavoro si basa sullo studio della documentazione dello scavo effettuato nel 2009 in piazza San Giusto a Lucca a cura della Sprintendenza dei beni Archeologici e dei materiali ceramici ivi ritrovati, con l’obiettivo di ricostruire la successione stratigrafica del sito e riconoscere nello stesso l’eventuale presenza di lavorazione metallica riconducibile all’attività della zecca comitale.
The work is based on the study of the documentation of the excavation carried out in 2009 in Piazza San Giusto in Lucca by the Sprintendenza of Archaeological Heritage and ceramic materials found there, with the aim of reconstructing the stratigraphic succession of the site and recognizing the possible presence of metal processing attributable to the activity of the count's mint.
