This thesis focuses on the analysis of the Procurement to Pay process, which has been conducted at the Ariston Thermo Group, a leading company in the field of water and room heating systems. The purpose of this study is to show the results achieved during the first six months of carrying out a Business Process Reengineering project. It has been made necessary by the progressive misalignment between the Information System and the practical management of the activities that make up the business process in question. The main objective during the early stages of the described intervention is to undertake an assessment study aimed at identifying responsibilities on the Procurement to Pay subprocesses, aligning organization and Information System and evaluating some performance indicators that can detect areas where there is a lack of results and consequently that can establish an organizational protection in order to monitor and keep an effective, efficient and continuous improvement process.
