Riassunto
The aim of the study was to investigate in patients with different neurodegenerative diseases the comprehension of concrete and abstract words, the ability to associate them to semantically related words, and the contribution of valence in their task performance. Took part in this study a total of 150 native Italian speakers; in order to assess semantic knowledge, we used two different tests: a multiple choice Naming-to-Description Task and a Similarity Judgement Task.
