Riassunto
This work has the aim to use carbon dioxide as a chemical resource in organic synthesis, and this has been done through the absence of a catalyst, and a stoichiometric organometallic reagent. In literature instead normally the carbon dioxide activation needs a metal catalyst. The target molecules of this thesis are heterocycles: 2-oxazolidinones and butyrolactones. Both this functionalities are common structural patterns in drugs and in natural compounds, so it would be interesting to perform synthesis of this functionalities through the carbon dioxide as a mono-carbon source.
