The aim of this thesis is to analyse individual behaviours and their role in HSE&Q system integration in ENI UK Limited, a foreign subsidiary of ENI S.p.a. that operates in Oil and Gas industry, exploration and production and which is nowadays commited as operator in the Bacton project.
During my work experience, my role in the company was to carrying out an evaluation of the whole operating cycle, to review the core processes and to analyse the HSE&Q Management system and its integration in the business.
The experience demonstrates that HSE&Q integration is a hard challenging goal for any companies, because it implies integration not only at the organisational level (formal procedures) but also at the individual one (individual behaviours).
At the end of the assignment, the individual and collective behaviour have been explored in order to assess the level of integration of HSE&Q Management system with departmental activities and a semistructured questionnaire has been worked out for this purpose .The questionnaire has been developed in a way that allows it to be used by ENI Uk as a tool to measure effectiveness of its HSE Management System and identify areas of potential improvement.
