Riassunto
The present work focuses on the study of the reaction of direct arylation of imidazoles. Direct arylation allows the use of unfuctionalized substrates thus avoiding steps of functionalization and wastes deriving from these. In this respect, imidazole has attracted a considerable attention because its aryl derivatives have a wide range of application mainly in medicinal and material chemistry. The goal of this work is to achieve a double arylation in position 2 and 5 of various imidazole rings with a wide range of aryl and heteroaryl bromides.
