In this work a new method for resource allocation in TDMA managed wireless mesh networks without energy constraint is studied. In particular two distributed protocols are proposed with the aim to
find a trade off between system fairness and global network capacity. Two pre-existing schedulers have been used as terms of
comparison: a round robin scheduler and an opportunistic scheduler. Simulation results show that proposed protocols improve the level of
fairness with respect to both opportunistic and round robin schedulers, and reach higher aggregate throughput than the system
where round robin is used.\\






In questa tesi viene proposto un nuovo metodo per l'allocazione delle risorse in reti wireless di tipo "mesh" con gestione di accesso al mezzo TDMA. In particolare vengono presentati due protocolli distribuiti, con lo scopo di trovare un "trade off" tra equità (fairness) del sistema e capacità globale della rete. Due preesistenti politiche di accesso alla rete sono state usate come termini di paragone: round robin e opportunistica. I risultati delle simulazioni mostrano che i protocolli proposti migliorano la fairness del sistema rispetto a entrambe i termini di paragone e raggiungono capacità globali superiori rispetto al sistema con round robin.
