Il presente lavoro verte sulla traduzione in italiano di Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, opera teatrale di Mosiés Kaufman.
Nel primo capitolo viene affrontato il tema del trattamento dell'aspetto biografico nel teatro, in particolare riferito alla figura di Oscar Wilde. Segue un excursus sulla nascita, gli sviluppi e sulle caratteristiche del teatro documentario, genere al quale l'opera appartiene. Infine si analizza nel dettaglio Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde.
Il secondo capitolo contiene l'analisi traduttologica, affrontata in base alle tecniche caratteristiche della traduzione teatrale. Il terzo e ultimo capitolo contiene la traduzione integrale di Gross Indecency:The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde.
This work is based on the Italian translation of the Moisés Kaufman play, Gross Indecency:The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde.
The first chapter deals with the biographical aspects in some plays, with particular reference to Oscar Wilde. It continues with the description of the origins and characteristics of documentary theatre, and ends with a detailed analysis of Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde.
The second chapter deals with the analysis of the Italian translation, focussing on the techniques of the theatrical translation. The third chapter provides a complete translation of Gross Indecency:The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde.
